Co-Founder, CEO & Strategic Lead for Education & Impact

I lead on vision, learning strategy, and education partnerships at WayPaths. My work is grounded in deep experience as an educator, curriculum designer, and head of learning, with a particular focus on SEND and inclusion. I’ve worked with local authorities, schools, and alternative provisions across the UK and internationally, and bring both lived experience and sector insight to the way we build our platform. I’m passionate about reimagining education so that every young person has the support, opportunity, and pathway they need to thrive.

Charles Emery

Co-Founder, COO & Strategic Lead for Systems & Experience

I lead on service design, delivery, and systems thinking at WayPaths. With a background in software engineering and experience design, I take a human-centred approach to solving complex operational and technical challenges. I’ve worked across sectors, from energy and banking to education and travel, always with a focus on creating elegant, user-focused solutions. At WayPaths, I ensure what we build not only works but works for the people who rely on it.

Francesca Roberts

Co-Founder, CCO & Strategic Lead for Growth & Partnerships

I lead on growth, partnerships, and communication at WayPaths, shaping our commercial strategy and building relationships that help the platform scale sustainably. My background spans sales leadership, marketing strategy, and inclusion-focused work across education, tech, and early-stage ventures. I’ve worked with schools, MATs, local authorities, and startups to help teams grow with clarity, connection, and purpose. At WayPaths, I’m focused on making sure the right people find us, and that what we offer meets the real needs of those navigating alternative provision.
